It’s beginning to look a lot like summer! And I’m just giddy about it. Ever since summer joined us not so long ago, I’ve been thinking about my bucket list – things I’m looking forward to doing and accomplishing to celebrate my favorite time of year. Outside of plenty of time on the beach, nursing iced lattes, and keeping sandal-ready toes – there are few personal goals, activities, and random to-do’s I have in mind. In honor of the start to summer, I thought I’d share my list – just in time for what I consider to be the epitome of summer fun in the sun, the 4th of July.
Summer 2014 Bucket List:
- Find a new yoga studio.
- Reorganize my closet.
- Spend a lazy Saturday at Paradise Cove.
- Buy a new iPod and load it with tons of new tunes. (Mine officially died in May and it’s been torture not having it.)
- Hit the Hollywood Bowl for a night of music under the stars. (You can read about past Hollywood Bowl awesome-ness here and here.)
- Dust off my tools/supplies and get back into jewelry making.
- Take one of the L.A. Conservancy’s Walking Tours of Downtown L.A.
- Attend a baseball game.
- Spend more time with girlfriends.
- Go for a picnic in Griffith Park.
With that, I’ll be out the rest of the week enjoying the long holiday weekend ahead. Have a happy and safe 4th of July!
See you next week!
Have a great weekend!
You too!
Wishing you a great summer and lots of adventures.
Likewise! Thanks so much for stopping by 🙂
Okay,2 question, and I’ll leave you alone. Lol
1.) I know you’re talking about “summer” and everything but have you ever went a baseball game, even a high school/college?
2.) How in the world have you made it this long without an iPod? I didn’t even last three days without mine. You should see what happens when I break my headphones, pure torture to a beloved music fan!
Haha! No worries!
“Summer bucket list” just sounds better than “to do list,” which is really all this is. Things to accomplish before the end of the summer.
Yes, of course, I’ve been to a baseball game! Not in high school as I recall, but I’ve been to plenty of professional games. It’s just been waaay too long since I’ve had a hot dog while in a baseball stadium on a summer day.
And please don’t get me started! It’s been rough without my iPod. Ugh. Thank GOD I never got rid of my CDs, which have been my salvation (though since I don’t buy them much anymore I’m listening to a lot of older stuff since I download all the new stuff from iTunes) and Spotify has been amazing during this difficult time (haha!!). Unfortunately, unexpected expenses keep coming up and I’ve had to wait awhile to replace it. I do miss having my entire music library with me at all times, everywhere. I hope to rectify this soon!! 🙂
