Here’s to cocktails with good friends. Here’s to pretty pedicures in flip-flops and iced lattes in hand. Here’s to the beginnings of many Friday nights to come taking in the next summer blockbuster. Here’s to fresh flowers filling the air and the sweetest of fruits on our tongues. Here’s to good books, to good times, to memorable moments on ferris wheels.

And most importantly, today, here’s to reflecting back on the men and women who have lost their lives in sacrifice of our country.
